Velatropa
Is a fictional place in The Arcturus Probe universe. It is referred in the book as the “Place of the turning light.” Name of experimental zone of Galactic Mother within Northern Quadrant where Lucifer is quarantined by the Galactic Federation. Main scene of action of The Arcturus Probe - see book by Jose Arguelles - José Argüelles (born January 24, 1939) is a Mexican-American author, artist, and educator. He is the founder of Planet Art Network and the Foundation for the Law of Time. He holds a Ph.D. in Art History and Aesthetics from the University of Chicago, and has taught at numerous colleges, including Princeton University and the San Francisco Art Institute. He is the identical twin brother of poet Ivan Argüelles. As one of the originators of the Earth Day concept, Argüelles founded the first Whole Earth Festival in 1970, at Davis, California.
In the book Dynamics of Time, Jose Arguelles also mentions that the Earth is in what is called an experimental zone, otherwise known as Velatropa - see also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vela_(constellation) Vela. From the point of view of the Dynamics of Time, an experimental zone would correspond to a universe sector which intelligences from another or parallel universe had selected to activate in order to create a field of corrective possibilities for the exhaustion of karma.
