Otterclan

Otterclan is a group of musicians from Vienna, Stockholm and New York. The band was officially formed in the summer of 2007.

The name Otterclan was chosen because it holds strong ties to childlike experimentation to the members of the band, and because it evokes a sense of camaraderie and a kinship with nature.

The band has played some big venues in Europe, such as Chelsea 1 and Flex in Vienna.

In the USA, Otterclan has played concerts in New York (some of which were covered by The Village Voice under their Experimental Music section) as well as Pennsylvania. The New York venues included Pianos 2 and Arlene's Grocery on Manhattan's Lower East Side, as well as Monkeytown in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. 3

Otterclan's first music video for the electronic remix of "Time of Your Life" has been played on the music television channel GoTv in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

The band is growing increasingly more popular on the underground scenes of Europe and the USA. Otterclan's official homepage has gained over 23,000 hits since it was started in May of 2008. 4
