Thanh Hoa Airport

Thanh Hoa Airport () is a civil airport planned to be built in the province of Thanh Hoá, Bac Trung Bo, Vietnam. The proposed location is in commune of Quảng Nhân, district of Quảng Xương, Thanh Hoa Province, west of National Road 4. The Deputy Prime Minister of Việt Nam Hoang Trung Hai has ordered the Ministry of Transportation of Vietnam to carry out the planning and implemention schedule. According to the preliminary planning, the airport will meet criteria 3C as specified by ICAO with a runway of 2,300 m x 30 m, capable to handle small aircraft such as ATR 72.. The airport will be enlarged in the future. The facilities will cover an area of 300 hectare. The airport is expected to serve tourists to beaches of Sam Son town.
