Superjump

A SUPER Jump or Super Bounce is a glitch in HaLo 2's maps. It allows a player to gain exceeding heights and reach an otherwise unreachable part of a multiplayer map. A Super Jump is achieved crouching into a wall, window, or ramp by pressing down the left-thumbstick and then jumping onto a specific object. Many times the attempt of this move can backfire but when performed correctly the player will be transported to a spot on the map far away from the other players. This move is often used to gain an advantage when sniping opponents. For example, in Lockout ( a Halo 2 multi-player map), if you go to the large base and go left down the ramp, there is a small abuttment sticking out of the wall. If you crouch while moving towards it, if done correctly, will cause your character to be stuck in crouch mode without the crouch button being held down. From the crouch jump to the ledge, and carefully jump down right before the crack along the small retainer wall on the walkway. ( This may take a while. Remember to keep pressing forward while jumping to the crack.) If this is done correctly, you will jump to the top of the map and be able to snipe. (If you are using Xbox Live, you can not talk to others while you are at the top of the map. An exception to this being team talk feature if the game is team based. Halo 2's peripheral sound detection will not allow your voice to be 'picked up' by other players on the map.)
