StrikeAd

StrikeAd is a US and UK based mobile advertising company, and developer of a dedicated mobile-specific advertising demand-side platform(DSP).

The company was founded in 2010 by Alex Rahaman and is backed by venture capital.

In January 2012, the company secured second round investment from venture capital firm DFJ Esprit, following first round finance from Germany-based venture capital firm eValue in February 2011.

Headquartered in New York and London, StrikeAd also has offices in Los Angeles, Dusseldorf and Kiev. In March 2012 the company announced a move into the Japanese market in conjunction with mediba Inc., a Tokyo-based advertising business.

StrikeAd works with multiple exchanges and supply side platforms such as, including Admeld, Nexage and Google AdX, and allows agencies to bid in real-time for over 60 billion mobile page impressions in 220 countries.

The company's main product is called StrikeAd Fusion, a mobile DSP, which aims to provide RTB, tracking, and automated optimization. This product is also available as a managed service.
