PSBAL Reinforced Cup
The PSBAL Reinforced Cup is one of The Two tournaments held in the Philippine Small Basketball Association League. Unlike the PSBAL Cup which doesn't require an import, This competition allows teams to hire imports to play on their teams. Its inaugural competition will be held on July 13, 2014.
History
After the establishment of the Philippine Small Basketball Association League, The Reinforced Cup is already announced as the last competition after the PSBAL Cup.
Tournament format
The tournament format for this conference is as follows:
- Eliminations:
- 7 games per team of the two conferences.
- Top 1 team for each conference will advance to the conference finals.
- The remaining 6 teams will advance to the quarterfinals.
- Quarterfinals:
- Each team will play 5 games for the quarterfinals.
- Top 1 team again on their conferences will advance to the conference finals.
- The other 4 teams will play for the 5th place and the 7th place games. According to their standings.
- Conference Finals (best-of-5 series) (MF = Mammals Conference/RF = Reptiles Conference):
- CF1: MF1 vs. MF2.
- CF2: RF1 vs. RF2.
- Finals (best-of-7 series)
- Winners of the conference finals.
