2014 PSBAL Cup

The Philippine Small Basketball Association League (PSBAL) Cup, was the first competition of the 2014 PSBAL season.

Format

The tournament format for this conference is as follows:

• Eliminations:
  • 1 GAME per team of The Two conferences.
  • Winners go to the winners bracket of the second round of their conference.
  • Losers go to the losers bracket of the second round of their conference.
• Second round:
  • Winners of the elimations of their conference will play.
  • Losers of the eliminations of their conference will play.
  • Winners advances to the Conference Finals.
  • Losers go to the 5th place/7th place game. Depends on the record of the team.
• Conference Finals (best-of-3 series):
  • CF1: SR1 vs. SR2 winners of their conferences.
  • CF2: SR1 vs. SR2 winners of their conferences.
• Finals (best-of-5 series)
  • Winners of the semifinals (one per conference)

Conference finals

As the 4 teams won in the second round (quarterfinals), They will play best-of-3 series for the conference finals according to their conferences.

Catz-Cheetahz series

Crocos-Iguanas series

Cup finals

As the Catz and Crocos are the champions of their conferences, They will play best-of-5 series. One of the teams wins to become the inaugural PSBAL Cup champion. Catz won the series 3-2.
