PilmerPR
PilmerPR, LLC. is an Orem, Utah-based public relations firm founded by John Pilmer, APR in 2003. It provides a variety of public relations and marketing communications campaigns for small to mid-sized businesses. More recently, the firm began specializing in corporate social responsibility and green PR among other specialties.
Structure
PilmerPR, LLC. is a privately held company, currently staffed by senior independent contractors, each responsible for different clients and aspects of PR. The staff have backgrounds in multiple fields, including social media, print journalism, and search engine optimization. Team members frequently collaborate to meet the needs of clients.
Clients
Some notable past and present PilmerPR clients include Novell, Boy Scouts of America, Certiport, AdvancedMD, Seastone and INVISUS Direct. ElectraTherm and EcoMemoryFoam by EComfort are two of PilmerPR’s clients with a particular focus in green PR. In 2008, two of these clients were listed among the Inc 5000 list of America's Fastest Growing Companies.
Recognition
PilmerPR has received awards for its success as a startup company and the achievements of its PR efforts. The firm received the Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum's "Top 25 Under Five" award in 2006 and 2007, based upon the company's financial growth within the first five years of business. PilmerPR received the 2006 Bulldog Award Winner for Excellence in Media Relations and Publicity, and was a finalist for the Wasatch front's Golden Spike Award for its communications campaigns in 2007 and 2008.
