Vandyville

Vandyville is the football tailgating area located on Natchez Trace in Nashville, Tennessee, in the heart of Vanderbilt University's campus.

Vanderbilt's tradition of excellence extends into the pre-game tailgating festivities, known as "Vandyville" . The mission of Vandyville has been stated as "Turning a three-hour game into a six hour event!" The pre-game pigskin party has seen tremendous growth over the past few years, with thousands of Commodore fans packing Natchez Trace for a chance to take part in the festivities. Fans are encouraged to support the Commodores by wearing gold and black, and attendance at the event has multiplied every year since its inception. Tents with customizable sidewalk signs are available for rent from the university to any season-ticket holding Commodore fan, and are quickly filled. Expansion plans are currently underway in order to serve the growing demand and popularity of Vandyville.

Provided entertainment includes, but is not limited to: 16'×10' video screen playing other football games of the day, inflatable games, Spirit of Gold Marching Band parade, food, drinks, and live music from local bands. The traditional Star Walk of Commodore football players also takes place an hour before kick-off.
