History
After a life altering event in 1993, and finding the support of an online community, Lois Gilbert learned about the power of the internet and what a powerful tool it was to become. Pulling from her background as a radio personality, she launched the website with only three musicians in 1996. With the motto of "unifying the jazz community", it has grown to hundreds of jazz web sites.
