InTouch is a Dutch company based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. InTouch is a provider of advanced ICT utility computing solutions to businesses throughout Europe. InTouch operates a diverse array of network infrastructures for which it became finalist at the Cisco Live! Innovation Awards 2010 Cisco Most Innovative SP Service Offering Project of the year 2010.
History
InTouch was founded the 1st of October 1994 by Rager Ossel.
Provided Services
Its core customer base derives from the construction and engineering industry. InTouch's services broadly fall into the categories of network infrastructure, Voice, Data, and Managed Services. InTouch's data services include Ethernet, Internet Protocol, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Internet Access and Bandwidth services. InTouch's managed services include application and website hosting, IT services and network management.
InTouch's geographic spread has Points of Presence (POP) in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and the United Kingdom, providing enterprises a platform in the form of a network infrastructure to host content and applications and to create new services that can be delivered.
IPv6 development
InTouch was one of the first IPv6 tunnel brokers in the Netherlands in 1999. Also InTouch was part of the 6BONE IPv6 backbone from 2000 until 6BONE's dissolvement in 2006.
Trough contributions of real world IPv6 data to researchers such as Team Cymru, InTouch helps identify malicious traffic, malware trends, or the consequences of misconfiguration in the IPv6 space.
LISP Research
InTouch is contributing to the development of the LISP protocol in the IETF.
