Intervision Network Corporation
Intervision Network Corporation (IVNet) was founded in 2005 by a small group of multimedia professionals from around the world who are dedicated to providing high QoE for the end user, while making the online video experience primary. IVNet TV is an example of a Global Broadband Network that can be created for media dissemination, backboned on the Level 3 and the Deutsche Telekom global communications networks.
Central to IVNet is a sophisticated content delivery network (CDN), which allows IVNet to reach a high-volume global audience at a relative low cost compared to other media outlets. These CDN processes support live streaming services to several user mediums, including televisions, cell phones and computers, in high definition broadcast quality to any global location. Broadcasting to a simultaneous live user audience of over 3.4 million worldwide, IVNet TV has strong global reach that includes India, Japan, Germany, Brazil, the U.K., Canada and the U.S. Moreover, the IVNET CDN has the ability to disseminate a live streaming global broadcast that can reach users numbering in the ten of millions.
The IVNet technology team uses algorithms, programming, caching servers and network engineering to make its Global Network optimized for delivery, streaming, and storage of digital media. IVNet can manage network traffic in a way that minimizes congestion, delay and transmission costs. IVNet's quality meets the National Television Standards Committee (NTSC) and the Phase Alternating Line (PAL) standards.
IVNet recently signed a deal with Principal Capital Group to serve as a Mobile CDN for the forthcoming ICE Mobile device.
