Carpe Diem (Media Agency)
Carpe Diem Inc. Ltd. is a new media agency currently based in Newton-le-willows that offers services such as website design and development. It was founded in 1999 by Bill Carr, who started Carpe Diem "to get back to what he enjoyed most - working hard and developing creative solutions that work. He wanted to work with companies that had a passion for their products who could not find the level of services required to meet their aspirations." Among Carpe Diem's many clients are sportswear manufacturer ASICS, pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline, UK telecommunications ombudsman Otelo, cosmetic surgery group Transform and UK charity The Carpe Diem Trust and Steps Children's Charity. In 2006 Carpe Diem developed the website for Warrington Collegiate Institute, which became part of the University of Chester in 2002. Carpe Diem have been working with ASICS and Onitsuka Tiger since 2000. In 2005, Onitsuka Tiger commissioned Carpe Diem to develop an Origami themed website to recognise a collaboration with Shin Tanaka.
