A Classic Story
A Classic Story is an upcoming Bollywood drama film based on Saadat Hasan Manto's famous story "Janaki". The film stars Chandra Bhushan Singh, Nidhi Mahawan and Surinder Setia in the lead, most of the cast is in this film is new. It is directed by Pankaj Yadav and produced by Bhavesh Nandan Jha.The first look of film was revealed in June 2011.

Production
in beginning of 2011 three small production house and some independent film-maker from delhi & Mumbai collaborate and make film making club called Anshdaan Filmmaking club and they decided to make a feature film. they wanted to make film dirt cheep and very low cost. At first they collect some money from there friends and others and in June 2011 the begun production.
A Classic Story has been inspired by Saadat Hasan Manto's famous story "Janaki". It is rumoured to be inspired by life of famous Indian writer and poet gulzar and Raakhee.The film is first production under the film-making club Anshdaan Filmmaking club.
Principal shooting began in June 2011 in Delhi, Mumbai, and Ghaziabad district.
