The SAT Operating System ("SAT_OS") is a software program (Operating System) designed for use on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), specifically, the Mathematics subsection. It was originally created with the intention of enabling one to rapidly calculate answers to most questions on the "New SAT" Math subsection. It was designed using the calculator-based programming language TI-BASIC. It is compatible with the TI-83+, TI-83+ Silver Edition, TI-84+ Silver Edition, TI-89, and TI-89 Titanium graphing calculators.
Vanity Beach is a rock band from Helsinki, Finland. The band consisting of J Karsten (Vocals, guitar), Marty Vain (Lead guitar), Post (bass) and Juno Forth (Synthesizers) was formed in 2002. The critically acclaimed debut CD; ‘Nights Of The New’ was released independently by the band back in April, 2003 and the sales exceeded all expectations. The first printing of the CD sold out only within a couple of weeks of it's release. The band is currently in the studio completing work on the long awaited follow-up 'Vengeance', which is set to be released during the fall 2006.
Dark Thursday was an event on Smallville (TV Series) when General Zod, in the body of Lex Luthor, was released from confinement, and Brainiac's virus was released upon the world. The virus caused a worldwide blackout, resulting in mass riots in major cities across the world. Many were killed and damage to the cities ranged from mild to extensive. This was the series finale of the fifth season, and the opener of the sixth, as Clark Kent was imprisoned in the Phantom Zone. This day was also the day when Zod armed Government satellites, nearly destroying all humanity to make way for the new Kryptonian race. After the events, the world tries to rebuild. In Metropolis, Lex donates millions of his fortune, in guilt, to rebuild, including a masquerade ball fundraiser with guests the All-American Rejects. Dark Thursday led billionare playboy Oliver Queen, a bully of Lex's in Excelsior Academy, to leave his home in Star City to investigate the destructive force of Lex Luthor as the Green Arrow.
