Susanne Lambdin is the Wichita, Kansas-born author of the Dead Hearts Novel Series. She is a familiar face at popular comic cons throughout the U.S. Dead Hearts Novels is young adult fiction published by Wyverns Peak Publishing. The series concerns a worldwide zombie apocalypse set in Colorado Springs, with the human survivors based on Pike's Peak and led by a young teenage girl named Cadence. There are five books in this series: Morbid Hearts, Forsaken Hearts, Vengeful Hearts, Defiant Hearts, and Immortal Hearts. The series uses the H1N1z virus, which continually mutates, creating more than eight (8) classifications of zombies, as well as vampires, werewolves, werewolves, demons, and other supernatural creatures.
