Zoukinis
Zoukinis is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Westbourne, Dorset - between Bournemouth and Poole. The restaurant was previously 'Waffles Clay Cafe' but is now under new management. Zoukinis is one of only two purely vegetarian restaurants in Dorset recognised by Viva!, one of only two purely vegetarian restaurants in Bournemouth and the only one in Westbourne.
Special Dietary Requirements
As well as offering food within vegetarian and vegan restrictions, Zoukinis also include gluten-free items on their menu and can cater for other dietary requirements on request. Zoukinis also offers organic options as well as food suitable for those with Coeliac disease.
Zoukinis actively support suffers of Coeliac disease and participated in May 2009's Coeliac Awareness week. The restaurant also sells a locally-made, gluten-free pudding.
Ceramic Studio
The back room of the restaurant serves as a ceramic studio allowing visitors to paint their own pottery. This is also used for parties and events including children's parties, hen parties, office parties and team-building events.
Other Events
Zoukinis is also used for private events. 'Eve's Networking', a Bournemouth-based women's business and social network, holds its monthly event there.
