WebRes
WebRes is a web-based reservation technology system for airlines, ferries, cruises, rail, bus and hotel operators.
History
WebRes was developed by technology company Entee Global Services Ltd, part the 2morrow Group of companies that focuses on the development of support technology for the travel industry.
The WebRes technology was first trialled by P&O Ferries to provide secure online ferry reservation services to their customers.
Functionality
WebRes is based on Microsoft.NET technology and provides real-time internet quotations and booking services. Some of the features of WebRes are:
- graphical browser interface;
- internet booking capability for direct and trade customers through multiple payment methods;
- self-check-in facility that interacts with ferry automatic number plate recognition cameras at ports a range of reporting functions;
- flexible pricing and yield curves with customer-specific pricing.
