Wally Wood (singer)

Wally Wood is the lead singer, songwriter And Co-founder for the american alternative metal band Allele. He has a daughter named Brennan Wood born in 2008.

History

Wally Wood and ex-Otep guitarist Lane Maverick formed Allele in 2002. After extensive searching the band added ex-Cold guitarist Kelly Hayes, bassist Tim Tobin and drummer Giancarlo Autenzio to the line-up. After refining their sound and gaining live experience, they were signed by Corporate Punishment. The band released album titled Point of Origin with producer Ben Schigel, who has previously worked with such artists as Chimaira and Drowning Pool. On June 29, 2006, it was revealed via Allele's MySpace blog that vocalist Wally Wood had left the group. Andy Toole was immediately announced as the new vocalist. However the band couldn't continue and in middle of 2007 had broken up.

In 2009 Allele reformed with Wally as the lead-singer and are set to enter the studio in January 2011.

Allele's second album, Next to Parallel, will be released in August 16th, 2011.
