Tristan Capital Partners is a private equity real estate asset management firm with approximately €5 billion in assets under management across seven funds. It was launched in 2008 following a client-led liftout from the US property firm AEW.

Tristan Capital Partners was founded in 2008 as a spin-out of AEW Europe to handle distressed property investments. Its Chief Executive is Richard W. Lewis, also from AEW Europe. The company's headquarters is in London.

Industry awards and milestones

In April 2014 Tristan was named Investor of the Year and joint overall Company of the Year at the CEEQA (Central and Eastern European Real Estate Quality Awards). In 2013 the company earned a position in the private equity real estate PERE 50 ranking by shooting through its target of €750 million for its European Property Investors Special Opportunities (EPISO)3. Tristan Capital Partners Founder Ric Lewis was voted European Industry Figure of the Year in the 2013 PERE Awards, and was named in both the 2012 and 2013 J.P. Morgan: “Power List of Britain’s 100 Most Influential Black People.”
