The tower was designed by Cottee Parker Architects, who have designed many current and proposed Brisbane Buildings such as Aurora Tower, Felix Tower and Evolution. The Companies behind Trilogy Tower are APH Capital Partners (APH), a multi-award winning Brisbane developer along with the Contractor Laing O'Rourke. Construction began in 2008 on the former Red Cross building site, located at 480 Queen Street in Brisbane's Central Business District, which was purchased by APH in July, 2006 for AU$32 million. The total cost of Trilogy Tower is projected to be AU$980 million.
