Trevor Mutero
Trevor Mutero (born on 13 July 1993) is a Zimbabwe born footballer who plays as a midfielder for Greek side Glyfada FC. He has dual nationality, the second being British.
Club Career
Early Career
Trevor Mutero was born in the city of Masvingo Zimbabwe in 1993, but moved to the UK in 2004.
Reading FC
Mutero joined Reading at the age of 12 after being spotted by the club's scouts while playing for another English lower division side Burton Rovers; and undergoing a two week trial. He attracted attention from clubs such as Stoke City and Sheffield Wednesday
Glyfada FC
In 2013, Mutero signed a three year contract with Greek side Glyfada FC
International career
In April 2011, Mutero earned him his first call up to play for the Zimbabwean national under-20 football team in a tournament which was played in Cape Town, South Africa. Mutero helped the 'Young Warriors' win the Bayhill tournament, scoring 4 goals in 5 games. In December of the same year, he was called up again to play and captain the U20s in the Cosafa tournament where he scored 2 goals in 3 games. He has also played for the U23s.
