Trains of WCR

The West Central Railway became operational from year 2004 with its headquarters at Jabalpur, one of the major city in Madhya Pradesh state of central India. The division was carved out from Western Railways with the headquarters at Churchgate, Mumbai and Central Railways of erstwhile Bombay state.

Now the division serves as a major zone for Indian railways along with other 13 railway zones.

  • 5009/5010 - Chitrakoot Express between Jabalpur and Lucknow (daily) via. Satna, named after a tourist spot in Madhya Pradesh

  • 2153/2154 - Bhopal - Mumbai Express between Habibganj and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (weekly) via. Itarsi
