Tomasz Maruszewski (psychologist)
Tomasz Franciszek Maruszewski – professor in Szkoła Wyższa Psychologii Społecznej (Faculty in Sopot), assistant professor, psychologist, specializing in cognitive psychology, psychology of emotions, management psychology and psychology of communicating.
In 1968 he graduated from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, where in 1975 he defended his doctoral thesis as well as postdoctoral degree in 1982. Since 1994 proffesor of humanities. Until 1998 he lectured at Uniwersytet Poznański (Department of Social Sciences, Institute of Psychology), passing all the carrier steps, including the position of headmaster of Institute of Psychology. He was also a lecturer at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Poznaniu (Multimedia Communication Department, Intermedia Cathedral and Artistic Education Department, History and Theory of Art Cathedral) and in Wyższa Szkoła Umiejętności Społecznych w Poznaniu (Management Department). He is a member of Polska Akademia Nauk, as the vice chairman of Psychology Institute of PAN. Associated with editorial staff of the magazine Charaktery.
