Thetextpage.com is an advertising website set up by Spyros Pyrgiotis. Thetextpage is the only website consisting of 100% text and established Pay Per Character Advertising by selling characters at $2 each, which provide a direct link to the advertisers website. Set up on the 13th March 2009, the website was created to pay for Spyros university fee’s of £17,000 due to lack of funding, no financial support and lack of work. Having made over £15,000 Spyros will attend Kingston University at the end of September 2009.
Biography
Spyros Pyrgiotis, a Greek student from Samos in just 6 months. he spotted a gap in advertising and created thetextpage.com in order to establish Pay Per Character Advertising. As well as a following on his Facebook group, with over 1,200 members and SKAI TV as well as several articles written including newspaper Eleftherotypia. Thetextpage has also been written about in Russia , Spain and Cyprus.

A TV production company has been following Spyros since the launch of the website and will complete a documentary about his journey Winter 2009. A taster of the documentary was released on Youtube in June 2009.
