The Unholy Alliance (WWF)
The Unholy Alliance were a heel tag team of Big Show and Undertaker in World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and their manager Paul Bearer.
History
On July 26, 1999, Big Show joins forces with The Undertaker following a beatdown on Kane and X-Pac. Later that night, Undertaker and Big Show faced Kane in a Handicap match, which the team lost by disqualification when Undertaker repeatedly attacked Kane with a steel chair. The Unholy Alliance started a rivalry with Kane and X-Pac, seeking the World Tag Team Championships. The duo captured their first Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam from X-Pac and Kane. On August 30, 1999, The Unholy Alliance feuds with Rock 'n' Sock Connection. On the same night, they lost the belts to Rock 'n' Sock Connection on RAW IS WAR, but however, they won the belts back on September 7 when then-heel Triple H interfered in their Buried Alive match. On September 22, they both lost their belts to Rock 'n' Sock Connection. A week later, The Undertaker suffered a groin injury and left to rehabilitate, causing the team to be disbanned.
