The Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency, Inc.(GSA), is a music talent agency located in Burbank, California, representing film and television composers, songwriters and music supervisors.
History
GSA was formed in 1982 by Michael Gorfaine and Samuel Schwartz, formerly of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), where Gorfaine served as co-director of the Los Angeles Membership office, and Schwartz ran the Film and Television Music Department.

Recent News
President Barack Obama's Inauguration
GSA client John Williams composed the song "Air and Simple Gifts," performed during the historic inauguration. Fellow GSA client, internationally known cellist Yo-Yo Ma, performed at the ceremony January 20, 2009 with musicians Anthony McGill (clarinet), Itzhak Perlman (violin) and Gabriela Montero (piano).
GSA client James Taylor performed his hit "Shower the People" with John Legend at President Obama's "We Are One" concert at the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall in Washington, D.C., on January 18, 2009.
Collaboration with IMG Artists
In 2008, GSA announced a collaboration with IMG Artists, a globally renowned firm specializing in the management and touring of musicians, dance companies, orchestras, and attractions. The partnership has most notably produced the touring Monty Python 60 minute comedic oratorio Not the Messiah (He's a Very Naughty Boy), performed by GSA clients Eric Idle and John Du Prez.
