The Fourskin (band)

'The Fourskin is a heavy metal/rock band formed in the borough of Staten Island. They have released two albums to date, one being their own work and the other consisting of cover songs.

History

The band formed in 1997 when Clogdor met Raul during a hiatus in India. Raul was playing in a local Indian fusion funk/techno group as lead guitarist. A year and a half later, The Fourskin was formed. In 2005, the band released their first album, entitled Justice, Thy Name Is Kitten, said to be inspired by Metallica's ...And Justice for All album. The album received unanimous praise and was widely popular.

In 2009, the band released an untitled cover album, which was also a success.

Currently, the band is working on a second, self titled cover album. The band is currently working in studio, and the record is expected to release at the end of 2010.
