TEAMtalk media is an independently owned online media company. The business is made up of four main units: Editorial, Mobile, Customer Service Call Centre and Ad Campaign Management.

Background

TEAMtalk media was founded in 2005 as the South African-based operation of 365 Media Group Ltd. 365 Media Group and its subsidiaries including TEAMtalk media were acquired by BSkyB in January 2007. The company became an independently owned entity in February 2011.

Operations

Editorial

TEAMtalk media CREATES and supplies online and mobile sports content, including live editorial and statistics for football, rugby, cricket, golf, F1 and extreme, among other popular sports. The company contributes content for sites such as Skysports.com, Skynews.com, Sportinglife.com, TEAMtalk.com, Sport365.com, Football365.com, Golf365.com, Cricket365, Extreme365, PlanetRugby, PlanetF1 and Football365.co.za.

Mobile

TEAMtalk media is a supplier of information services and downloadable content, providing sports and non-sports related content. Mobi sites include m.football365.co.za, c365.co.za and Planet-Rugby.mobi.

Customer service

TEAMtalk media ’s offices also house an outsourced Customer Service team for Sky Betting & Gaming's online gaming websites, such as skybet.com, skypoker.com, skyvegas.com and skybingo.com.

Advertising campaign management

The Ad Campaign Management team are responsible for managing advertising campaigns across Sky's network of sites. TEAMtalk media is the official sales house for Sky.com, SkySports.com and SkyNews.com in Africa.
