Tammeka Games
Tammeka Games is a video game developer. It was setup in April 2014 as a VR games studio to develop and self-publish the range of Radial-G games. Originally based in Brighton, UK, the team quickly established a name for themselves with the early demo of "Radial-G : Racing Revolved" for the Oculus DK1 VR headset that was created by Palmer Luckey and associates for a successful Kickstarter in 2012.
However the Kickstarter campaign for Radial-G : Racing Revolved itself was unsuccessful in gaining and meeting the funding goal but was successful in raising awareness of the game title to achieve outside funding options to continue with development.
Over the course of 2015 and 2016, the company continued to develop the main game, Radial-G : Racing Revolved for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive release on Oculus Home and Steam respectively. Once the PC VR versions were released, the developers in the Brighton studio switched focus to development for the Sony PlayStation VR HMD, whilst a new development team based in Ascot, UK continued work on the mobile VR versions (Samsung Gear VR and Google Daydream versions of the game franchise) started by the Brighton team. By the end of 2017, the Radial-G franchise will span support across 7 VR HMDs.
