Sunny Boys

The Sunny Boys are the Italian Beach Boys tribute band. They have recently started producing their own material for their debut album, coming out in January 2008.

They are currently playing more than fifty concerts a year in Italy, Switzerland and Austria. One of the highlights of the show is the a cappella rendition of songs like "And Your Dream Comes True", "Mama Says" and "Our Prayer".

In 2005, the Sunny Boys met Brian Wilson in Ravenna before his show and played at a special party in his honour. They also received appreciation from Bruce Johnston (member of the Beach Boys) via the Male Ego Message Board and from Jeff Foskett, member of the Brian Wilson's touring band.

Brothers Gianluca and Fabio Leone, 30 and 26 years old, are the leaders and founding members of the band. Gianluca, under the pseudonym of Brian The Captain, is the arranger of both the instrumental and vocal parts, while Fabio is Gianluca's "third ear," contributing to the live sound of the band.

The Sunny Boys' first album Back To The Beach contains twenty Beach Boys songs recorded live in Turin, Italy, in November 2006.
The New upcoming album Beach Sounds, will be completely written, arranged and produced by Gianluca Leone.
