Stevan Stevanović
Stevan Stevanović (born in 1992) is a Serbian rugby league player who currently plays for the Dorcol Spiders in Serbia. His position is usually as a second rower. He has on the odd occasion played in the backs and is a key figure for the Serbia national rugby league team.
Stevan is one of Serbia's most consistent players, and top try scorer, having scored 31 tries in 15 games in domestic competitions, and 8 tries in 5 games for the Serbian national side in 2013 alone. In 2009 he captained Serbia U18 in the European Championship and was selected in competition's 'All Star Team'. He made his debut for the senior national team in the same year. With his talent, he instantly made a mark and became one of Serbia's key players.
In 2014, Stevan and his fellow Serbian and Dorcol Spiders teammate Stefan Nedeljković were selected to train with professional English Super League club, the Warrington Wolves. They travelled to Cheshire for some professional experience with a two week training spell. Watch their training here=
