History

After forming in 2007, Stages & Stereos experienced multiple line-up changes in their early years. After releasing their first three EPs, the band went on hiatus. During the hiatus, Lancaster performed guest vocals on the Mayday Parade acoustic album Valdosta and Ian "Edge" joined the United States Army as a combat medic. While in Afghanistan, Ian suffered a serious leg injury that caused him to lose his left leg below his knee. The band reformed and released their fourth EP, Anchorless on October 30, 2012. The band has since joined Go Radio on their 2012 "Go to Hell Tour" and Mayday Parade on the 2013 Glamour Kills Tour. Before the Glamour Kills Tour, the band announced that former Go Radio guitarist Alex Reed had joined the band for the tour. Reed would later become a full member of the band. The band released their fifth extended play, Small Town Favorites, on September 24, 2013. The EP was streamed on PureVolume before release. The EP was produced by producing team Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount.
