Sri Sitaram Vidyalaya is a private school started with the blessings of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetiam in the year 1987. At present the school has a strength of AbOUT 2000 pupils studying in classes from kindergarten to high school. The school was well known for its holiness.

History


Sri Sitaram Vidyalaya was founded in 1987 under the auspices of Sri Ram Samaj, a registered society functioning since 1954 with laudable objectives. The School has shown a phenomenal growth and spectacular development within a span of 20 years. As IT Works like a temple of culture of Hindus.

The School Emblem


The school emblem has a bow and arrow. This symbolizes that we have to aim high and achieve success in life. The pair of sandals insists us to follow the path of righteousness. The words "धर्मस्त्वाम् अभिरक्षतु" mean "let Dharma be protected to protect yourself".

Special features


The school have well equipped laboratories for science subjects Viz. physics, Chemistry, Biology(very poor coaching).> A modern well furnished and well equipped computer center helps the children to get accustomed to the modern techniques in computer education through software programming in their curriculum.

The School provides Computer education to all the students from III to XII Std, keeping in mind the changing needs of the students and latest technology.

"Smart Class" program has been introduced from Feb 2004 to facilitate Computer aided teaching and make teaching and learning more enjoyable and effective.
