History
Sree Ayyappa Public School, Bokaro Steel City, was established in 1988. This is an English Medium co-educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. This school is managed by Board of Directors duly elected by Ayyappa Seva Sangham, Bokaro Steel City and other nominated personalities from SAIL, Bokaro Steel etc. In this Steel City, Sangham is a linguistic minority, but its services of the school are dedicated to the benefit of all people irrespective of social or religious consideration. The first session of the School started on 27th June, 1988 Sree Ayyappa Public School, is not receiving any aid either from Government or any other sources. The fees realised from students is the only source of income. To meet the rising cost and payments of higher salaries, fees have to be adjusted from time to time.
Location
Sree Ayyappa Public School is located at Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand, in Eastern India. It is located at a distance of AbOUT 12 km from the railway station and is easily accessible and well connected to the rest of the city. In the quite environs of Bokaro Steel City, the school is situated in Sector V.
Facilities
Library :
The School library is well furnished, well ventilated and adequately stocked with text books and reference books. A special period is provided in the school timetable and children are encouraged to read books, under the guidance of the class teacher and the librarian. The library also subscribes to a number of daily newspapers, magazines and periodicals.
Laboratories : Well designed, well equipped, well ventilated and spacious laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science are available for the students to perform their practicals according to the CBSE syllabus. Informatics Practices laboratory is aesthetically and ergonomically designed conforming to the latest technical knowhow. Mathematics laboratory and Language laboratory is being established.
Audio Visual Room : Students of Nursery to V are taken to Audio visual room once a week under the supervision of the teacher to impart them co-curricular knowledge.

House Masters are appointed to guide and assist the House. Each house is also headed by a House Captain and a Vice-Captain. Inter-house activities are held round the year and the house which bags maximum points is awarded a running trophy in different categories.
