Somaliland Social and Economic Research Center
Somaliland Social and Economic Research Center (SSERC) is an autonomous research institute within Admas University College and is located in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The research center is dedicated to conducting and publishing research studies focused on Somaliland and Somalia. SSERC´s work primarily revolves around three research areas: social research, economic research, and cultural research.
Main Objectives of SSERC:
1. To engage in economic research studies relating to the various private and public actors in Somaliland's economy.
2. To engage in social research studies relating to the various private and public actors in Somaliland's society.
3. To collect, catalogue, and preserve cultural and historical data and artifacts related to the people of Somaliland.
4. To support the development of an inclusive and peaceful society in Somaliland.
5. To be an active contributor to the general development process of Somaliland.
