Soberlink is a Huntington Beach, California based technology company that provides remote alcohol monitoring system to track sobriety in real time. The company develops software and hardware such as breathalyzer, facial recognition and wireless connectivity to record blood alcohol concentration (BAC) tests.

Overview

Soberlink was founded in 2010. It started creating handheld cellular blood alcohol level testers in 2011. The company has received multiple patents for their sobriety monitoring system.

In 2016, Soberlink received FDA clearance for medical use by healthcare providers to remotely measure alcohol in human breath of those who have alcohol use disorders (AUD). The company has partnered with Verizon Wireless to provide remote clinical monitoring services on cellular devices.

Soberlink devices and services have application in addiction treatment facilities, law courts, community corrections agencies and workplaces.
