Horizn Studios is a German travel luggage and accessories company. The brand has integration features like removable power banks and GPS trackers.
Overview
Horizn Studios was founded in May 2015 by Stefan Holwe and Jan Roosen. At the same time, the company launched luggage with an integrated and ejectable charger and received funding from Project A Ventures and other investors. It operated online and through flagship stores in Berlin and London, with retail partnerships in Harrods and KaDeWe. In 2019, Horizn Studios developed the Horizn ONE, a luggage for zero-gravity travel, in collaboration with Alyssa Carson.
In 2021, the company collaborated with designer Tetsuya O’Hara to develop Circle One, a luggage line made from a flax-based composite called BioX. Horizn Studios produces hard-shell suitcases made from German polycarbonate, along with backpacks and other travel accessories. The RE Series, introduced in 2023, is a line of hard-shell luggage manufactured from 97% recycled polycarbonate.
In 2020, the brand received PETA-Approved Vegan certification for its products, which utilize recycled materials like polycarbonate and flax-based composites. The company also collaborated with Seth Troxler, BMW, Soho House, Beats by Dr. Dre, and Emeka Ogboh.
