Shruti Kohli
Shruti Kohli is an Indian Entrepreneur and Founder/Editor of MoneyQuin, an online magazine focused on women and kids. With AbOUT nine years of experience in journalism, she resigned from the India Today group where she was a Principal Correspondent and started her own venture in June 2009.
Biography
Shruti started as a Reporter with The Times of India in 2001. Subsequently, she worked with Indian Express, CNBC TV18, Outlook Money and Money Today.
She spent her childhood and scholarly years in the Cantonment town of Jabalpur, in the state of Madhya Pradesh in India. After finishing studies, she moved out to work with The Times of India. She covered the Civic, Crime and Legal beats during the first 5 years of her career. Then she moved to finance reporting. She is pursuing her financial planning certification programme alongside. Also, she is a faculty at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.
MoneyQuin
Within two months of its foundation, MoneyQuin organised a Conference on Financial Literacy. http://www.moneyquin.com/cover-story.php?artid=31 which was an absolute success. This was sponsored by the National STOCK Exchange (NSE) And Co-sponsored by Geojit-BNP Paribas Financial Services and ICICI Direct Ltd. The industry sat up and took note of the new kid of the block through this conference which had as many as ten experts from reputed banks, fund houses, insurers and broking houses on the discussion panels.

Shruti has been profiled in mainstream as well as vernacular publications. And MoneyQuin has been quoted as a "pioneer".
