Shipito

Shipito is a mail forwarding company. Originally it got its start in 2007 as a warehouse storage space for bikes that were being imported into California. Today it has become a mail forwarding center. Since 2007 it has grown fast and become widely popular. As of November 2011 it processes tens of thousands of packages every month.

Shipito has United States addresses in both California and Nevada, as well as a sales tax free location in Tualatin, Oregon. They also have a location in Europe that's located within Austria.

Founder John Vanhara

John Vanhara is the founder and CEO of IncParadise, a company that's incorporated more than 10,000 companies today with Shipito being one of them. He was originally born in 1972 in Czechoslovakia. While there he studied at Masaryk University in Brno but didn't graduate as he chose to start out a career in business. In 2002 he came to the United States with his wife.

Shipping Process

Many products are less expensive when purchased in the USA. However, some stores don't ship overseas. Shipito has solved that problem by selling mailbox numbers within its warehouse where their customers can have packages shipped to. Whenever a package arrives there, a customer will receive notification AbOUT who the package was from, as well as a picture of its mailing label. Postage is then automatically calculated and package is subsequently send internationally to customers.

Shipito utilizes a variety of shipping methods. These methods may vary somewhat depending upon the warehouse's location and what country their customers are located in. They do have a calculator on their website so that everyone can check and see what shipping methods are actually available in a given country. The dimensions and weight of a package can be entered into this calculator in order to determine actual cost of the service. Some of their shipping methods include the United States Postal Service, FedEx, DHL, Russian Post, Air Mail and MPS (Multiple Piece Shipping).

Restrictions on Shipping

There are some items that are restricted and thus no carrier is able to ship them. These items include: 1. Firearms or any part of a gun 2. Any items that are restricted by the United States government 3. Flammable or explosive items 4. [...] 5. Corrosive materials 6. Human remains 7. Live or dead plants or animals 8. Electronic equipment requiring ECCN# (Export Control Classification Number)
