Germination (EP)

Germination is the title of the debut EP of the American R&B-pop singer-songwriters Sade Serena. The EP was released on 15 April 2014, under the independent label Uprzie Music LLC in Digital Download and CD.

Background

With the success of her debut single "Tonight", released via Island Def Jam Digital Distribution, who reached number 4 on Billboard Hot Single Sales, Sade Serena and her label decided to work on her first EP. In this 7 track, Sade Serena mix various kind of music genre from R&B to pop passing from dance and hip hop. For this EP she worked with songwriters and producers assiocated to her label, and with Jon Fx who worked for artists like Akon and Sean Paul. Sade Serena presented the EP during her performance at the BET Music Matters on April 2014 in New York City. The EP debut at number 2 of Billboard Heatseekers South Atlantic and number 42 on Billboard HeatSeekers Album. The EP contains over the pop-dance Billboard Hot Single Sales hit Tonight, the pop midtempo single Rengade who was distributed via Universal Digital Distribution and the main single of the EP Hello Kitty which is a sexy R&B slowjam.
