Shelter Point (band)

Shelter Point is a British indie rock band from Nottingham. The duo consists of Liam Arnold and Robin Hearn. Born in the city of Coventry, The Two have known each other since they were 13 years old. However, they did not start working together as the group until after moving to London, England.

Career History: 2011- Present

The duo began their career as Shelter Point with an two track EP entitled Forever For Now through the electronic British label, Hotflush Recordings in October 2012. The duo also released a commercially successful remix of the MØ track, “Walk This Way”, that was given high reviews from the likes of radio royalty such as Annie Mac, Huw Stephens, and Zane Lowe". Following their success of their first EP release, Shelter Point went on multiple tour dates supporting Jack Garratt in 2014 and working with Grammy award winner, Steve Dub. After the release of “Forever For Now” and touring, Shelter Point released their single “Fossil” in December 2014 along with the announcement of their second EP release, Weird Dreamers, which was due to be released in February 2015. The EP was released on 1 February 2015 through Space & Time Recordings, a subset of RCA Records in the United Kingdom, and was given positive reviews as the EP was a combination of the haunting vocals of Liam with emotional and ambient melodies.

Along with tour support for Jack Garratt, Shelter Point has also performed at multiple festivals and events such as The Great Escape in Brighton, Red Bull Bestival in Isle of Wight, and on BBC Introducing.
