Seventia

Seventia (born 5 May 1985 in London) is a pop singer and songwriter.

Early life

Seventia studied fashion design at ESMOD in Berlin from 2000 to 2003. At the same time she took singing lessons in order to become a professional singer. In 2004, aged 18, Seventia started training as a paramedic and did volunteer work with the Red Cross .

At the age of five she passionately sang her favorite songs every day. At seven, she got her first instrument - a flute - and got her first keyboard at age 10.

Career

She went back to the UK in 2009 to work on her MusicAL career. Shortly after she arrived in London she won her first song contests and met with producer Andrew Hayman (who has also worked with Sugababes, Ronan Keating and Gareth Gates).

Her first single, Live For The Night, was released on 21 September 2009 and reached #10 in the ReverbNation Chart as well as gaining favourable press coverage. The single was produced by Andrew Hayman and Adrian Warren. Shortly after the release of "Live For The Night" she formed her own team with, among others, producer and sound engineer Adrian Warren, and songwriter Dominic Horgan.

A second single, Black Magic (written by Horgan), was released on 13 May 2011 and an album is also in production.
