Señorita (Shinee song)

"Señorita" (Korean: 세뇨리따) is a K-pop song of R&B music genre performed by the South Korean boy group Shinee. It was included as a track in their second Korean mini-album Romeo, released on May 25, 2009 under the record label of S.M. Entertainment. The song was performed live many times at their concerts and showcases.

Composition

According to Naver, "Señorita" musically belongs to the R&B genre. The song was composed and arranged by S.M. Entertainment's resident and one of the lead music producers, Kenzie. She had been collaborated with Shinee on many songs before, including "Real" from their first EP Replay, "Graze" from their first album The Shinee World. She went on to compose their hits like "Jo Jo", "Life", "Stranger", "Why So Serious?" and "Green Rain". The agency's lyricist Kim Jung-bae, who also wrote the aforementioned songs, also penned the lyrics for "Señorita". The accompanying choreography for the song was formed by Shim Jae Won and Rino Nakasone Razalan.

Live performances

"Señorita" was included in the set-list of Shinee's first Asia tour Shinee World: 1st Asia Tour 2010-11 and was their second song to be performed during their concerts right after their trademark song "The Shinee World". The boys were invited to be the opening act of the 6th London Korean Film Festival which took place at Odeon West End Theater on November 3, 2011. The boys staged the performances of "Señorita" and "Ring Ding Dong" their hour-long gala concert.
