Scott Paskoff

Scott Paskoff (b 18 March 1973) is an American television producer and screenwriter best known for his work with reality television.

Career

Producer and writer Scott Paskoff is a native of Massapequa, NY. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1995, Scott moved back to NY where he began his career in television before moving to Los Angeles in 1996 to further pursue his television and film career as a producer/writer in Hollywood.

Having written several television pilots, treatments, and screenplays, Scott’s had numerous projects in development with his twin brother Andrew, and they have been represented by the William Morris Agency and Paul Kohner Agency, in Los Angeles.

After 3 years at NBC (1997-2000), Scott took a job in TV development with Comedy Central (2000), helping develop many of the hits on the network including, The Man Show and Crank Yankers. In 2001 Scott, along with his writing partner and twin brother Andrew, had a screenplay in development at Sony Pictures with legendary film producer Laurence Mark (Jerry Maguire, As Good As It Gets, Finding Forrester, Dreamgirls).

He moved back to NYC in 2003, after accepting the position of Head of TV/Film Development for a small talent agency.

Scott took his first Associate Producer job in reality television in 2005. Since then he has worked out of both NY and LA on some of TV’s top reality shows (Surreal Life, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, America’s Next Top Model, Big Brother), producing all across the US, as well as internationally. Scott’s talents have landed him producing jobs with many of the top reality production companies in Los Angeles including, 51 Minds Entertainment, Bunim/Murray Productions, 10 x 10 Productions, Allison Grodner Productions, Original Productions, LION TV, Endemol USA, Cris Abrego Productions, Shed Media and NEXT Entertainment.

From September 2009 through February 2010, Scott worked as Senior Producer on MTV’s series titled MegaDrive for Lion Television out of NY. In November 2009 Scott, along with Andrew Paskoff and Wayne Carmona (Entourage), produced his first film, a short starring Entourage’s Jordan Belfi, and in June 2010, Scott sold his first show to LMNO Productions in LA.

Recently, Scott and Rob Anderson created “And The Rest Is History”, and along with writer Steve O’Donnell (“Letterman”, “Seinfeld”, “Jimmy Kimmel Live”) have been developing the show with LION TV in NY.

From July through October 2010, Scott worked in Miami, Producing the 2nd Season of Basketball Wives for VH-1. From there, Scott was the Supervising Producer for a Travel Channel pilot called “Mancation”, which is going into production on Season 1.

Currently, Scott is a Producer on the latest season of ABC’s ratings sensation, “The Bachelorette,” and the second season of "Bachelor Pad.".

Scott is represented by the talent & literary agency Rebel Entertainment Partners, Inc. in Los Angeles.
