The Company
Today, Schindler Handhabetechnik is a provider of turnkey feed solutions based on step feeders. All system components, such as tipping-tilting units, bunker conveyors, step conveyors, sorting rails and short stroke handling axes, originate in development and fabrication facilities.
Another pillar of the business is flexible feed and handling solutions based on robot-supported systems, with image recognition for machine feeding and for palletising in assembly, as well as increasingly in the area of quality control.
User industries include nearly all metal- and plastic-processing industries, particularly the automobile and OEM industry, as well as machine design.
Right from the start, appropriately for a design office, Schindler Handhabetechnik GmbH has maintained a large development and design department as the basis for its innovative product development. Examples include step conveyors, patented sorting rails and blowing systems for small parts. It should also be mentioned that step feeder that was developed by the founder himself, can handle feed parts with a unit weight of up to 20 kg. The multilevel structure of the production department, with component fabrication, welding, assembly and the electrical department as well as an international marketing network, permits the firm to cover every part of the addded value chain. The system integration of industrial robots into flexible feed and handling solutions is one focus in the expansion of the newly developed service range.
