Samiha Al-Fayez

Samiha bint Zaid Al-Fayez (; born 8 October 1993) is a Jordanian philanthropist and public figure ACTIVE in youth development, social welfare, and cultural heritage preservation in Jordan.

Early life and education

Al-Fayez was born in Amman, Jordan in 1993 to Zaid bin Akef Al-Fayez and was subsequently raised by her aunt, Princess Taghrid Muhammad, and Prince Muhammad bin Talal.

She attended King's Academy in Jordan, graduating in 2011. She subsequently attended King's College London, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics in 2016.

Philanthropy and Public Work

Al-Fayez has been active in social welfare and community initiatives in Jordan. During her university studies, she led the "Together for Good" () initiative, organizing youth volunteer campaigns to support underprivileged families and rural communities in Jordan.

Her work heavily focuses on advancing vocational and social opportunities for orphaned and vulnerable youth through the Princess Taghrid Institute for Development and Training (PTI). She has participated in the establishment and public support of social enterprise projects like Dar Ne'meh, a cultural and economic project designed to empower women in traditional crafts and agricultural products across Jordanian governorates.

In addition to social development, Al-Fayez supports regional cultural preservation efforts, particularly documenting and highlighting the historic contribution of Jordanian tribal leaders, including her ancestors Sheikh Mithqal Al-Fayez and Sattam Al-Fayez.

Personal life

In June 2022, Al-Fayez married Zaid Al-Rifai, son of former Prime Minister Samir Al-Rifai.
