Salim Kadibesegil
Salim Kadibesegil (born 1954) is a Turkish management consultant.
Kadibesegil was born in Ankara. He graduated from Aegean University School of Journalism and Public Relations in 1977.
His professional career started as a reporter in 1970’s and continued as a Press Attachê in Washington during 1979-1982. Kadibesegil established the public relations department of Aegean Region Chamber of Industry in 1982 and after working at Henkel Turkey as Marketing and PR Coordinator for four years, he fulfilled General Manager position at Hippsan, İzmir, German joint venture of Hipp-Werk on baby food, for another 2 years. In 1985 he has been one of the founders of İzmir Public Relations Association and chaired for three terms.
He established ORSA Strategic Communications Consultancy, Turkey’s leading consultancy company in 1990.
He had many studies regarding media measurement and evaluation since 1990. He is one of the founders of PRNET (The first media measurement company in Turkey) .He was one of the pioneers on improving the international standards in public relations and communications consultancy professions. In favor of this idea, he has led the establishment of ICCO Turkey and represented Turkey five years at the international Board of ICCO. (International Communications Consultancy Organization, www.iccopr.com) He tutored in London School of Public Relations, Turkey and at PRCI (Public Relations Consultancies) and also took part in improvement of the training program of PRCI tutoring more than 1000 students.
Kadibesegil who has a vast aggregation, experience and references on strategic communications management, has also led the introduction of the concept ‘Reputation Management’ in Turkish business life. He has been consulting to “Turkey’s Most Admired Companies” research project of Capital Magazine since it has started and has been representative of Reputation Institute in Turkey. Kadibesegil is an active board member of TKYD (Corporate Governance Association of Turkey),board mem.er of Turkish Science Center Association, and Buğday Associations (Ecological transformation). Kadibesegil tutors students of Communications Faculty of Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul/Turkey.
