Rob Ellis (DJ)

Rob Ellis is a DJ from Preston, United Kingdom.

He currently presents Galaxy Manchester's breakfast show. The Rob Ellis Show is one of Manchester's premiere radio shows and broadcast's each morning between 6am and 10am. Rob works alongside his small team which consists of Stand Up Alex, Wingman and Rachel 'Text on Legs'.

Wayne Rooney is a fan of the show and has been quoted as saying he listens on his way to training for Manchester United

Ellis worked as a DJ in Preston, before starting his radio career in 1996 at Rock FM. He later moved onto Manchester's Key 103 to present the station's evening show.

In 2006 Ellis joined Galaxy Manchester, within the first year he was moved to the station's Drive Time show where he was joined by his co-presenter Wingman.

In 2007 Ellis was a runner up for the Sony Rising Star Award (won by George Lamb), alongside Kelly Osbourne
