The moniker "Redshirt Theory" comes from the concept that those who wear red shirts in a science fiction T.V. show or movie will undoubtingly die.

My Religion EP
Under the moniker "The Redshirt", Aaron Jones had his first release "My Religion EP" with 'Total Wipes' on Beatport.com. The tracks "My Boom" and "My Religion" were released, with the track "My Boom" cracking the top 20 downloads in the "breaks" category.
Getting Massive
Getting Massive was released in 2006. Many of the album's songs have been featured in video games. The same year he won 'Remixer of the Year' on the popular independent music website www.Mp3unsigned.com, as well as runner up for 'Solo Artist of the Year'.
Scissors Beats Rock
Released in hard copy form in September 2009 and digitally November 2009. Contains 12 tracks and is described by Redshirt Theory as "a rock/dance hybrid. Nothing is better than catchy rock vocals, some gritty guitars, all over top some groovy dance beats and synths."
Most of the music from this album has been used in video games which include: Find Yourself, Lost in Shadows, The Traveling Man, Inside of You, Move On, The Redshirt Anthem, Scissors Beats Rock, and Girl Who You With.
Many of the tracks feature guitars and vocals from the Scottish band "The Felz" (formally known as 'Tartan Rascals')
